The Clusters‘ Berlin Graduate School for Global and Transregional Studies hosted a welcome workshop with a newcomer and alumni party on Wednesday the 18th of September 2019 to welcome the new cohort of doctoral fellows, and the first within the newly established Cluster, and connect them with the fellows of the former graduate school. During the World-Café-style workshop, the current doctoral fellows and Alumni exchanged views on research, their plans for the future and spoke about difficulties regarding the research process and their PhD work. Afterwards, incoming fellows had the opportunity to network with more advanced researchers and Alumni during a joint dinner. The Graduate School also celebrated its Alumni who recently defended their thesis and honored the contribution of those members of the administration, Nina, the BTS Coordinatior, and Natascha, one of the student assistants, who will leave the team to take the next steps in their career.
