Diana Rafailova did her PhD at the EUI on the effects of political regimes on school quality and learning outcomes at the cross-national level. As a postdoctoral researcher under the ERC-funded project ‘MoveMeRU’, she investigates the intergenerational transmission of historical and political attitudes among families with a Russian migratory background (focus groups and surveys - none of this in Russia, but out of the migration context).
Her research interests include:
- political regimes
- authoritarian politics and education
- legacy of authoritarian regimes
- political attitudes
