Sagar is a PhD candidate at the Department of Civics and Politics, University of Mumbai, India. He has received Academic Accelerator Fellowship of SCRIPTS for the academic year 2024-2025 and is a visiting doctoral researcher at SCRIPTS, BGTS.
He has finished his Masters at Savitribai Phule Pune University in Politics and International Relations.

Current Research Projects at SCRIPTS
Sagar is conducting PhD research on the comparative political thought of Jürgen Habermas and B. R. Ambedkar, focusing on the discourse of modernity.
While at SCRIPTS, his research project is on the theme of ‘Global Thinking in Ambedkar,’ and exploring the relevance of the framework of contestations of liberal scripts with it.
