Zoe Williams defended her dissertation in 2016 at the Hertie School of Governance. In September 2016, she began a one year position as a visiting assistant professor at Bishop’s University, a small liberal arts college in Quebec, where she taught courses in IR, IPE and Latin American Politics. In September 2017, she will start as Fellow in International Political Economy at the London School of Economics.
Her research interests are broadly within IPE. She continues to work on the connection between domestic politics and investment arbitration. She is also interested in extra-legal mechanisms to settle disputes between companies and other non-state actors.
